- Bullhead City is thriving community with a friendly atmosphere located on the Colorado River in the northeastern portion of Arizona approximately 90 miles south of Las Vegas, Nevada, and directly across the river from Laughlin, Nevada.
- The City is the largest population center in Mohave County.
- The current site of Bullhead City was once known as Hardyville named after an early resident who moved to the area and opened a ferry service and steamboat landing on the Colorado River.
- With the construction of Davis Dam, and the subsequent formation of Lake Mohave, in the early 1950's, the area's economy along with its population began to grow.
- It was at this time that the area became known as Bullhead City. Today Bullhead City is a thriving community with a current city population of over 40,000, an increase of 80% since 1990.
- Bullhead City is located in a geographic area that supports a population of over 100,000 residents.

- Lake Mohave and the adjacent lands forming its shoreline are part of the Lake Mead National Recreation area.
- Lake Mohave, the Lake Mead National Recreation area, and the Colorado River support several resorts and offer year-round recreational opportunities such as water sports, fishing, hiking, off-road exploration, and wildlife photography.
- Lake Mead and Lake Mohave offer opportunities for scuba diving; advanced divers explore diving locations such as Black Canyon and Ringbolt Rapids.
- Bullhead City is also is located just over a two hour drive from Flagstaff, Arizona, the location of the San Francisco Peaks.
- The Peaks rise to over 12,000 feet in elevation and host the Snow Bowl, a premier Arizona ski destination with over 750 acres of skiable slopes and 32 ski runs.
- An hour drive north of the Snow Bowl is the South Rim of the Grand Canyon which offers endless opportunities for the adventurous hiker.
- A short drive east of Bullhead City is the historic Route 66 and the authentic old west mining town of Oatman where visitors are taken back to a time when the town was a flourishing gold mining center
- QUALIFICATIONS: Five years of systems and/or programming experience; minimum of five (5) years of experience and knowledge of skills necessary to perform in all computer technology areas.
- Any equivalent combination of experience, training and or education: OR
- Associate's degree in computer science or related field and six (6) years systems and/or programming experience; OR Bachelor's degree in computer science or related and three(3) years systems and/or programming experience.
- REPORTS TO: Superintendent
- Plan, deploy, and maintain all technology of the school district.
- Assess Current district technology.
- Assist in developing district technology plans.
- Provide technical support to computer users of specialized and highly technical software packages, programming languages, computing equipment and local area networks.
- Install and/or assist in installation of software packages and/or equipment to include configuration of software hardware.
- Identify, review and recommend software and/or equipment to meet user needs; answer questions or resolve problems.
- Assist with planning, scheduling, and implementing computer training services for campus users.
- Provide technical expertise for network solutions and maintain Novell and NT Networks.
- Maintain an accurate work history (daily log), including all work orders, corrective and preventive maintenance, software installations and hardware repairs.
- Work with preventive maintenance schedules and work orders in maintaining high standards in assigned areas.
- Inspect, diagnose and maintain all computer systems and peripherals.
- Assist with planning for district technology needs.
- Maintain LAN/WAN for the district office and all sites.
- Help develop and maintain IT policies and goals for the District.
- Supervise technical staff.
- Plan, deploy and maintain voice and video systems.
- Any other school/district work dealing with technology as assigned by the superintendent or designee.
