What You’ll Do

• Direct/Manage/Supervise the implementation, maintenance, and monitoring of the overall IT infrastructure including computer hardware, software, networking, IT support, and Cybersecurity.




• Inspire and motivate your team toward common goals, set a clear vision, create an inclusive work environment, foster open communication, and make informed and confident decisions.




• Research and collaborate with peers and stakeholders to define operational requirements, strategies, and technology solutions to build the most cost‐effective and efficient systems to achieve the resulting goals.




• Oversee security solutions, including firewalls, antivirus, intrusion protection systems, disaster recovery, and backup procedures.




• Lead the development and/or refinement of IT policies and procedures.




• Manage and contribute to activities and day-to-day tasks of your team.




• Remote work is at your discretion but must be within 30m of our South Burlington Office and data center for when your presence in person is needed.




• 24x7 on-call rotation for the monitoring and management of critical systems.




• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

What You Need To Succeed

• A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience.




• 3 - 4 years of hands-on experience in a related role.




• Experience leading and mentoring a team of IT administrators with varied technical backgrounds and experience.




• Broad knowledge of the IT field with demonstrated leadership skills.




• An ability to work well in a team environment; can develop strong working relationships and promote a positive, collaborative tone.




• Strong knowledge of administering Microsoft Windows environments, including Active Directory and Azure AD.




• Experience with VMware vSphere and/or other virtualized infrastructure technologies.




• A keen eye toward Cybersecurity best practices and ongoing awareness of industry threats.




• Experience with network troubleshooting and design best practices.

Bonus Points

• Experience with Microsoft Office 365 Administration




• Experience with Microsoft SharePoint Administration




• Experience managing cloud-based solutions (Azure, AWS, Google, etc.)
