Job description

OVERVIEW

Eventbrite is home to the most diverse and vibrant communities of event creators and event goers, and we’re on a mission to bring them together through the power of live experiences. Our ultimate goal is to leverage social marketing to shift the perception of Eventbrite as more than a “logo on a ticket,” and as the destination for event discovery for consumers, and as a demand engine for creators.

THE TEAM

The Eventbrite Marketing team is a centralized, multi-disciplinary group focused on acquiring, retaining, and building a world-class brand that resonates with both event creators and event goers. We are data driven and biased towards action, and put the customer at the center of everything we do. We are specialists within our individual areas of expertise and work together to connect with and support our customers.

THE ROLE

For the first time, Eventbrite’s social media team is bringing on an Influencer Marketing Manager to lead the strategy and execution of our growing influencer marketing program. We are looking for an experienced influencer marketer with a successful track record of partnering with social media influencers to create compelling, data-driven campaigns that drive real business results.

This role will work cross-functionally within the larger marketing organization and hand-in-hand with Eventbrite’s influencer agency partner to develop and execute year-round influencer campaigns. You’ll also partner with the Senior Social Marketing Strategist and Social Marketing Manager to bring on social media influencers to create content for Eventbrite’s owned social channels. A successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the content creator ecosystem and impeccable judgment when it comes to selecting the best partners to represent and elevate our brand.

YOU WILL

  • Lead day-to-day management and strategy for all ongoing and future B2C and B2B influencer campaigns.
  • Act as the point person between Eventbrite and our agency partner, leading the development of our 2023 consumer influencer campaigns, including sourcing talent, developing content, managing performance marketing campaigns, and compiling data.
  • Regularly report on campaign analytics and create a compelling narrative from the data.
  • Partner with the Community Team to establish content partnerships with Eventbrite creators tied to key cultural moments.
  • Engage in daily community management and grassroots outreach on Eventbrite’s priority social media channels, including replying to comments, commenting on relevant content, and following and engaging with relevant accounts, including Eventbrite’s creators.
  • Partner with the Senior Social Marketing Strategist and the larger marketing organization to map how Eventbrite’s influencer strategy supports the larger organization’s goals.

THE SKILLSET

  • 3+ years of experience in influencer marketing, either on the brand-side or at an agency.
  • A strong understanding of the talent onboarding process, including selecting influencers, standard rates, exclusivity windows, usages rights, and legal disclaimers.
  • A finger on the pulse of the influencer industry and emerging trends.
  • Exceptional budget management and organizational skills.
  • A deep understanding of social analytics as well as experience using social listening tools.
  • A commitment to diversity and inclusion in influencer partnerships.
  • A strong communicator who can use data to craft a narrative of impact.
  • A team player who enjoys collaborating and believes that two heads are better than one.
  • A passion for live experiences.
  • Experience working in social media marketing outside of influencer marketing is a plus.
