As an Industrial Fitness Specialist, you will be responsible for the overall implementation, management, and activities designed to promote and improve the injury reduction, health, safety and well-being of warehouse associates. In this role, you are responsible for implementing and maintaining the Industrial Athlete ProMOTIONS program in your area. You will support the development of incentive and motivation programs, assist with health activities, including lectures and workshops on a variety of health and wellness topics, and build a strong awareness of health and well-being in the warehouses. You will also be required to provide one-on-one nutrition advice and exercise prescriptions, and possibly facilitate fitness assessments, including strength, movement, and cardio-respiratory.

Job Description
You Will Contribute By:
- Continually seek opportunities to educate your buildings on the ProMOTIONs content and program
- Performs audits to ensure the health and sustainability of the ProMOTIONs program in the building
- Fully supports the vision of creating a work place with Zero harm to the employees and the environment
- Implements ProMOTIONs health and wellness programs. These may include components such as dynamic warm-ups, proper lifting assessments, fitness assessments, exercise plans, nutrition evaluations, meal plans, equipment and exercise orientations, regularly scheduled group exercises classes at various intensity levels, strength training, and cardiovascular training
- Trains all new hires on ProMOTIONs best practices for proper lifting and general health and wellness
- Provides appropriate immediate care for incidents
- Work Closely with local and regional Safety and Training departments
- Working with upper management to ensure continued improvement in each warehouse
- Ensure that the departments achieve and continuously improve health and safety performance

Environment
- Warehouse : Freezer (-20F to 0F)
- Warehouse : Perishable Warehouse (28F to 60F)
- Warehouse : Grocery Warehouse (50F to 90F)
Skills
- Specialized Knowledge: First Aid, CPR, AED certified. Professional certifications in Strength and Conditioning and/or Certified Personal Trainer (NSCA, NASM, or ACSM) preferred. Bilingual a plus - Spanish/English.
- Special Skills: Computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Physical requirements/expectations: Occasionally sitting, squatting, lunging, pivoting, and performing repetitive movement
- Occasionally gripping, carrying, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 60 Lbs. Climbing up to 4 ft. (Must have fall protection training and using proper fall protection equipment).
- Frequently standing, handling, carrying
- Continuously walking on surface type (s): Carpet, tile, concrete •
- Occasionally reaching (level: Waist/overhead, etc.).
- Continuously talking, seeing, hearing, smelling and repetitive movement
- Occasionally walking in different temperatures of departments (grocery, perishable, frozen)
