Industrial Electrician

Job Description/Summary:

It is the Electricians responsibility to respond to all calls and/or requests for maintenance on shift in all parts of the facility, troubleshoot problems, make adjustments and repairs as required: both electrical and mechanical. Also maintain facility HVAC equipment and ensure all plant electrical equipment is in safe operating condition.

Understanding and working with:

• Safely install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical equipment.
• Continuously evaluate and analyze electrical quality and safety processes and procedures.
• Use strong communication skills to establish and maintain good working relationships with other mill departments.
• Modeling, implementing, and complying with all company safety rules and industry standards
• Utilize troubleshooting skills to assist in designing and repairing electrical systems
• SCADA and HMI experience
• Experience with hydraulics, welding, and Pneumatic's.
• DCS System, ROCKWELL Plant PAX familiarity is a plus
• Ethernet, networking, installation and troubleshooting
• Three-phase systems
• Transformers
• MCCs
• Variable Frequency Drives
• Programming and Troubleshooting PLC systems (Allen Bradley, Siemens)
• Bending and working with RMC, IMC, and EMT conduit
• Must be able to use and interpret the NEC code book

General Requirements:

• Proficient with Microsoft office products.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including climbing and heavy lifting. Be willing to work weekends and holidays (as needed).
• Be willing to work both indoors and outdoors, in all weather conditions.
• Is trustworthy and self-motivated.'
