Job Description
Summary - Maintenance Mechanic
Job Duties:
-Diagnose and implement equipment repairs as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor or Foremen.
-Communicate with Foremen regarding priorities and completion timing.
-Work with the Maintenance Project Manager as required.
-Communicate with supervisor and upcoming shift regarding jobs completed and work in progress.
-Generate written reports of work performed status, supplies used, and inventory levels.
-Perform duties in a timely, safe, and thorough manner.
-Attend training for policy, programs, and safety.
-Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements:
-Experience in a 24 hour manufacturing environment.
-Maintenance of plastic processing equipment is preferred
-Must have 5-10 years of Industrial Maintenance experience.
-Must be able to stand for long periods.
-Must have a High School diploma or GED.
-Must have High School math and measurement skills.
-Ability to work 8-hour shifts in a routine schedule, including Saturdays and Sundays.
-Willingness to work overtime when necessary or required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
-Physical requirements include climbing, the ability to work in confined spaces, and lifting & driving a forklift. (as needed)
-Able to lift up to 40 lbs
