Independent Contractor Delivery Driver- $21.00 Per Hour

Alpine Health is a pharmaceutical distributor with locations based in Secaucus, NJ and Wilkes-Barre, PA. We service independent pharmacies with a full range of Generic Rx drugs, Diabetic Supplies, DME and Home Health Care products, Prescription Vials and Bottles, Pharmacy Supplies and Health and Beauty Aid Products.

Alpine Health is looking for a individual to join us in building a better pharmaceutical company by being a Delivery Van Driver. This driver would be transporting our products to the tri-state area: New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Connecticut. Hours are Monday - Friday from 8:30 am to 5:30 PM. No weekends are required. We require a clean MVR and a pre-employment background/drug screen as well as a valid driver's license.

What You'll Do:

• Perform vehicle safety and pre-trip and post- trip inspections at the beginning of each shift
• Clean the cab and cargo spaces of the vehicle, maintaining a clean working environment
• Deliver orders up to 50 lbs
• Collect paperwork (signed BOL) and report back any order complications to Alpine Health while on route (quantity difference, rejections, missing deliveries, warehouse feedback)
• Must have a strong commitment to safety
• Must demonstrate Alpine Health's values and culture

What You'll Have:

• Ability to navigate in heavy traffic safely
• A minimum of six months recent driving experience with comfort driving in a variety of weather and traffic conditions
• Comfortable driving a van; experience driving and managing
• Able to work an 8 hour driving shift
• Excellent time management skills and experience completing complex traffic situations
• Ability to follow routes successfully; experience with commercial roads
• Experience driving in New York
• Must have a valid NY or NJ Driver's License
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Clean MVR
