Job description

Overview
Serve as imagery analysis SME for the Analysis Division. Ad Hoc/anticipated products related to this subtask include: Production Statistics, Briefings, VTC, Telecon, Tipper Reports, PowerPoint presentations, assessments, and other products for internal and external customers.
Responsibilities
  • Develop relationships with Imagery Analysts who directly support the AFCENT mission at key intelligence community agencies.
  • Attend information, collaboration, and intelligence meetings including VTC/Telecons as required and prepare/present PowerPoint presentations as tasked. Ad Hoc/anticipated products related to this subtask include: Meeting notes/summaries, Pre and/or post meeting briefings.
  • Ensure all intelligence data is properly disseminated using existing Knowledge Management practices, throughout CJTF-OIR and national level agencies throughout the CJOA. Publish reports and disseminate via email, web portals, or other appropriate methods as tasked.
  • Assist with resolution on difficult and complex analytical problems by researching, developing, and producing at the operational and strategic levels to leadership.
  • Coordinate with the AFCENT collection management team on imagery-related collection management issues.
  • Maintain currency on tools used to retrieve, edit, and display imagery for use by the Analysis Division.
  • Support assessments for contingency planning as required.
  • Perform daily reviews and analysis of all-source reporting.
  • Draft daily/weekly intelligence summaries of adversary activities for 9AF (AFCENT) to distribute to national, tactical, and strategic customers.
  • Assist in development and review of CFACC's prioritized intelligence requirements and corresponding ISR collection requirements in support of current operations and contingency planning.
  • Provide expert analytic support to 9AF (AFCENT) planning, authoring, reviewing, prioritized intelligence and production requirements, intelligence estimates, and annexes and appendices.
  • As directed, leverage all formal and informal analytic exchanges, as well as training opportunities, in order to foster peer-to-peer collaboration, ensure thorough vetting of products, and deliberately pursue/maintain acuity on essential elements of tradecraft.
  • Serve as imagery SME and advisor to ACC and 51st Intelligence Squadron, providing imagery-focused analytic oversight and quality control to training, daily operations, and production

Qualifications
Required:
  • Minimum of five (5) years' experience as an Imagery Analyst
  • Minimum four (4) years' analytical experience at the tactical/operational level within DoD or equivalent Government agencies
  • Former MOS 35F, 350F, 18F, 35D, 34A, or equivalent such as USMC - 0204, 0210, 0211 - Counterintelligence/Human Intelligence (CI/HUMINT) Specialist, 0231 Intelligence Specialist, U.S. Navy- Navy Intelligence Specialist, USAF -1N7X1 Human Intelligence Specialist, 1N4X1 Intelligence Fusion Analyst, 1N0X1 All Source Intelligence Analyst
  • Proficient in utilizing standard computer applications and intelligence related automation to support analytical efforts and product development
  • Familiar with and capable of using social media platforms
  • Be capable of effectively operating as a member of an analytical team in support of CJOA requirements
  • Be able to travel to CJOA in order to provide/receivetraining
  • Briefing skills to include the ability to clearly articulate information
  • Open Source (OS) 1 training and Introduction to Middle East Cultural Study (Computer Based Training Course) required. If not completed previously, must be completed three months after employment start. Cost will be covered by 9AF (AFCENT)
  • Excellent research and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications.
  • A valid U.S Passport and meet visa requirements for travel to USCENTCOM AOR countries.
