Job Title: Graphic Designer

Job Summary:

Are you a creative and passionate Graphic Designer looking to make a difference? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team at III Corps Headquarters in Fort Hood, Texas, where you'll have the chance to collaborate with a variety of teams and external partners to create high-quality graphics and layouts that make a lasting impression.

Responsibilities Include:

• Collaborating with a variety of teams and external partners, including art services, web designers, printers, and marketers, to create high-quality graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and websites
• Planning concepts by studying relevant information and materials
• Illustrating concepts by designing examples of art arrangement, size, type size and style and submitting them for approval
• Preparing finished art by operating necessary equipment and software
• Coordinating with outside agencies, art services, web designer, marketing, printers, and colleagues as necessary
• Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing tasks as needed
• Communicating with clients about layout and design
• Creating a wide range of graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and websites with software such as Adobe Photoshop or InDesign
• Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements when necessary

Join our team if you have:

• Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related field
• The ability to obtain a public trust
• Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
• Proficiency with required desktop publishing tools, including Photoshop, InDesign Quark, and Illustrator
• A strong eye for visual composition
• Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to give and receive constructive criticism
• Understanding of marketing, production, website design, corporate identity, product packaging, advertisements, and multimedia design
• Experience with computer-aided design

Desired:

• Able to with little or no guidance (self-starter)
• Experience with motion graphics or moving picture graphics
• Understanding of III AC and/or the Army

Work Setting and Environment:

• Monday - Friday, between the hours of 8 AM - 5 PM CST.
• Work is to be performed at the III Corps Headquarters in Fort Hood, Texas
