About the role

The IGA (Identity Governance & Administration) lead is responsible for engineering IGA solutions for globally dispersed businesses, personnel and customers. Works with IAM architects, application developers and vendors to build, configure, test and implement IAM solutions that meet the business needs of the enterprise and are aligned and consistent with enterprise IT strategies and plans while ensuring alignment with Enterprise IT and Security strategies. The lead will need to have subject matter expertise with all aspects of SailPoint and experience with building cohesive solutions with other IAM, Security and Enterprise tools.

  • Engineer solutions to ensure that IGA solutions and services perform according to defined processes, meet defined policies and comply with information security requirements.
  • Engineer technical IGA solutions, engaging during the lifecycle of solutions delivery, service owners, architects, project managers, global infrastructure teams, regional IT teams and key IAM product vendors.
  • Integrates IGA systems with in-house and third-party applications for provisioning, identity authentication and systems resources authorization, developing connectors between IAM tools and systems resources.
  • Lead quality control and quality assurance activities, such as developing and executing test plans / scripts and resolving deviations or exceptions, for newly developed and/or enhanced IAM solutions.
  • Experience will all modules of SailPoint incl. request & approval, provisioning & deprovisioning, password management, certification, and overall application onboarding.
  • Mentor other IAM Engineers and Developers.
  • Contribute to conducting POCs, evaluation, selection and configuration of IAM products and services from vendors.
  • Work with application developers and IT operations to develop, test, roll out and maintain enterprise-wide IAM solutions and services as necessary.
  • Support in troubleshooting and resolving complex problems as necessary.

Please note: The job can only be performed in the State locations listed: Houston, TX, Charlotte, NC, Remote-TX and Remote-NC.

What we are looking for
  • 10+ years of overall experience designing, building, configuring and implementing IGA platforms (specifically SailPoint), solutions and services along with source code management.
  • 5+ Experience interpreting architecture, designs and business requirements to develop and implement IT security solutions that span multiple technologies, businesses and geographies.
  • 5+ years integrating applications and business services with IAM solutions like SailPoint, Okta and CyberArk.
  • Expert level knowledge of IAM lifecycle, including but not limited to, request & approval, provisioning, certification, authentication & authorization, privileged access management, RBAC & ABAC.
  • Strong experience with IAM related protocols such as SAML, SPML, XACML, SCIM, OpenID and OAuth.
  • Strong experience with Directories, SSO, Federation, Delegated administration, API gateways, SOA services.
  • Strong experience integration with the following toolsets - Okta, CyberArk, Centrify, Quest products (ARS, Change Auditor, Enterprise reporter) and BluePrism or equivalent products.
  • Experience building solutions to manage the IGA lifeycle of cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.
  • Experience integrating with enterprise tools - Workday, Fieldglass, ServiceNow, Splunk, SharePoint, Archer.
  • Experience with the following platforms - Active Directory, Databases (Oracle, MSSQL, Sybase), Mainframe (TopSecret, RACF, zVM), Unix/Linux.
  • Experience with the following programming languages & web technologies: Java, BeanShell/JavaScript, JSP/Servlets, SQL, XML, SPML/SOAP, Web and Application Servers, HTML.
  • Experience with regulations including SOX, SOC1, PCI and NYDFS.
  • Experience with NIST, PCI, ISO 27001 or similar frameworks and standards.
  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • A security industry certification is preferred including but not limited to CISSP, CISM, Security+ or IAM Product certifications.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with many levels of management and across multiple lines of business and corporate functions.
  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting IAM solutions and services.
  • Can dissect complex situations and guide teams to focus on most critical tasks.
  • Well organized, with good attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Ability to travel, which is generally no more than 12 times a year, as needed.
