Job Description
- Implements sourcing strategies through social networking, direct sourcing/cold calling, employee referrals, the internet, resume database searches and occasionally works with external search firms
- Partners with and acts as a subject matter expert for the hiring managers in filling their job openings with top talent
- Works with hiring managers and interview teams to ensure job requirements and expectations are clearly understood and candidates are assessed against appropriate criteria
- Regular follow up with the respective hiring managers and candidates is essential
- Creates or modifies job descriptions and converts them into attractive job postings
- Posts and manages open positions via the company website (ATS system), job boards and with external recruiting agencies
- Provides timely response and service to internal clients
- Processes employment requisition requests, activates and post jobs, and communicates effectively with the hiring manager and interview team to ensure preparedness during the interview process
- Evaluates candidate skill level, conducts efficient phone screens, and facilitates onsite interviews as needed
- Manages the offer process, including background checks, salary recommendations and negotiations prepares and submits offers, rejection letters and closes the hiring process through onboarding
- Researches, recommends, and implements new sourcing techniques and employment marketing strategies to attract high quality passive candidates
- Develops a pipeline of qualified candidates (in advance of need) by maintaining regular contact with top technical talent
- Tracks and reports on recruiting activity - provides regular recruiting updates as needed
- Provides for a good candidate experience and acts as a candidate advocate
- Accurately convey, communicate, and support the company Brand, Mission and Vision
- Bachelors (BA/BS) Degree from an accredited four-year college or university preferred
- 2 years’ experience in HR or recruiting/talent acquisition in a corporate and/or search firm environment
- Bachelors (BA/BS) Degree from an accredited four-year college or university
- Strong proficiency with MS Office applications, MS Word, Excel and database experience
- Experience using ATS/RMS Systems, preferably Kenexa/BrassRing) and has expertise with internet research
- Knowledge and experience in a wide range of current recruiting practices, policies and trends
- Experience conducting both phone and face-to-face interviews in order to qualify potential candidates
