Hvac Service Estimator (Ft)

• Assist sales with new and existing preventative maintenance agreements.
• Obtain quotes, order parts, and issue purchase orders.
• Communicate status of equipment with technicians and advise Service Manager when parts availability will impact customer satisfaction.
• Prepare estimates for projects and preventative maintenance agreements.
• Create accurate take-offs of the job determining labor, materials, subcontractors, duration, overhead, and profit.
• Ensure estimated include costs to meet regulations, safety, engineering, and appropriate amounts of overhead and profit as specified by the Service Manager.
• Prepare estimates for any Change Orders associated with projects.
• Communicate with the Service Manager regularly of any issues.
• Be available for before or after-hours meetings.
• Perform site surveys safely to gain correct information to quote.

• Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn about the project or product being developed.
• Diploma from high school or G.E.D.
• A minimum of two (2) years or more of experience as a sales representative preferable in the construction, commercial/industrial, HVAC markets.
• Must maintain valid driver’s license and be an insurable driver.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Can pass a drug screen (urine & hair).
