Form of work- Our client, a stable mechanical servicing company, has an immediate need for an HVAC Sales Representative (internally titled Project Sales Representative) to handle a territory out of the Binghamton, NY area. Our client has been in business for over 30 years and has a stellar reputation in the industry. They are a continually growing company, and they are looking to add a representative in Binghamton area to help them take this division to new heights. The Binghamton team operates as a tight-knit group, always willing to help each other out, and are looking for someone who operates from a “customer first” mentality in order to fit into this culture.
- In this position, the HVAC Sales Representative will be responsible for fielding inbound project requests, as well as some new business development. They will evaluate systems and components to determine the repairs, modifications, or replacements necessary to resolve issues with customers’ mechanical systems. The HVAC Sales Representative will prepare project design, cost estimates, and formal project proposal documents and serve as the liaison between the customer and the project manager. They will sell to facility owners, maintenance managers and engineers.
Requirements: The ideal candidate for this position will either possess a Bachelor’s Degree and at least 5+ years of proven success in HVAC sales or come from the field and have a strong technical proficiency. The candidate should be independent, self-motivated, and driven to take complete ownership over their role. They should possess strong CRM experience and exceptional customer service skills.
Compensation: Our client is offering a base salary in the 60k – 85k/year range and an uncapped commission program that will put you between 100k – 120k/year total earnings.
