Job Description
Qualifications-
•To be successful in this role, you should be organized, motivated and mechanically inclined
• Two years of outside sales experience or HVAC tech experience
• Knowledge of HVAC a plus
• Proven track record for customer negotiations
• Previous experience selling to residential homeowners or consumers a plus
•A commitment to excellent customer service
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with customers
•Experience using computers for a variety of tasks
•Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment
• Physically able to work in attics and crawl spaces as needed
Responsibilities
•You are responsible for visiting customer homes to determine their HVAC needs and make the appropriate recommendations for system replacement
•You inspect their systems and educate clients on solutions to improve their home comfort
• Ability to provide sales presentation of features and benefits that fit customer needs
•Working with the client, you find options that work for them and build relationships which earn repeat business
•Complete all necessary paperwork to include agreements, finance documents, heat gain and loss calculations, installation notes and rebate forms
• Develop strong relationships with prospects through networking and referrals
• Present as a professional with knowledge & expertise that positively reflects our company
• Work with team members to ensure project needs are met
• Meet required sales volume and sales margin quotas
• Accommodate customers schedule, some evenings or weekend required
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports
• Strong negotiation skills
• Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Valid Texas Driver’s license
• Ability to pass Driving & Background Check as well as a Drug Test
