Job Description
Job Duties:
- Answering inquiries, responding to special requests, and communicating order changes
- Responding to customer needs by identifying needs, generating quotes, and closing orders
- Submittal preparation
- Vendor negotiation and buyout
- Follow-up on open proposals and orders
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to maintain tight project bidding deadlines
- Must be detail-oriented
- Able to work within deadlines and without direct supervision
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic
- Must be computer literate with Microsoft Office programs
- Some experience with CAD is desired, as both reading mechanical plans and creating as-built drawings are required
- Mechanical Engineering Degree, or enrollment in such a program, is strongly preferred
