What You Will Do:
The Human Resource Representative provides operational and staffing support for the HR Operations Manager at the Buffalo facility. This includes assisting in recruiting, facilitating employee training activities, and supporting benefits administration and data requests. Additionally, this position will engage with our people to understand and continuously improve employee relations while striving to make API Heat Transfer an employer of choice for our community.
- Support the hourly hiring efforts including interviewing, extending offers, and collaborating on talent acquisition initiatives.
- Conduct orientation training on EHS and standard company policies and procedures, with a focus on continuously improving our delivery.
- Check-in with employees regularly to ensure their needs are met, voices are heard, and concerns are addressed.
- Maintain and improve training and development plan for hourly associates.
- Coordinate, schedule, and deliver training as needed.
- Responsible for back-up payroll processing at Buffalo site.
- Manage door card system, uniforms, safety shoes, and safety glasses.
- Maintain org charts and phone directory.
- Filing of documents.
- Manage service awards.
- Facilitate offboarding of team members including conducting exit interviews.
- Maintain updates to policies and employee handbook.
- Participate as an active member of Engagement Committee
- Assemble information into monthly newsletter format.
- Other duties as assigned.
