Newrest is looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager for its Salt Lake City location of about 400 employees. This individual will be responsible for all aspects of human resources, including recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, culture, safety, and training. This individual will need to partner closely with the operations management team to ensure the culture of Newrest is evident in all of its practices. Newrest is a fast-paced environment that will require to constantly and consistently work at a fast pace. This is a working manager position that will have a few direct reports.
Experience Requirements
- 5-7 years as an HR Manager in a manufacturing or similar environment with over 200 team members
- Previous experience managing a team is strongly preferred
- Education background in HR or HR certification is a plus
- Ability to speak another language is a plus but not required

- Strong knowledge of federal and state employment law
- Good business acumen to understand operational and financial requirements
- Good functional ability on a computer, especially with Excel
