Position Type: Paid Internship, available to work at minimum of 30 hours/week during the summer (Program begins May, 2023 or sooner if available) -- opportunity for more hours if interested
Salary from $15.00 / hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Work alongside the Operator and Director of HR & Administration to build and execute best-in-class Human Resources processes and programs
- Develop and update formal job descriptions
- Assist in the building of detailed training and development plans for all team members
- Oversee training and reporting on all training by team members
- Evaluate training effectiveness
- Assist with the performance management process for all team members
- Participate in development of team member recognition and incentive programs
- Work with the Operator and Director of HR & Administration to build comprehensive total compensation strategies
- Participate in the recruiting, hiring and onboarding processes
- Attend and represent Chick-fil-A Collier Township at college recruiting events
- Deliver and ensure that all team members genuinely deliver our "recipe for service" to every guest on every visit
- Maintain vision alignment with the Operator and the leadership team
- Ensure stewardship systems are taking place throughout the restaurant
- Provide analytical analysis of hiring, retention and turnover data for creation of strategic plans to grow the business

Required Skills:
- Currently pursuing Bachelors Degree or above in a Human Resources and/or other business major (Junior or Senior year status preferred)
- Demonstrated strong leadership experience
- Excellent communication skills -- verbal and written
- Strong computer skills
- High standards in the area of operational excellence, quality, and customer service
- Exhibits a natural ability and desire to coach, mentor and develop others and themselves
- Positive attitude
