Essential Functions
- Responsible for coordinating HR involvement for regulatory audits across HCR's footprint (i.e., DOH, OMIG, etc.).
- Liaisons with Employee Benefits Resource Center.
- Tracks employee leave of absences and informs management of changes in return-to-work dates
- Processes Workers' Compensation claims and employee accident reports.
- Acts as HR contact for the 401K benefit plan and ESOP.
- Responsible for tracking and annual OSHA reporting.
- Handles employee relations issues as required.
- Responsible for running various reports as needed: ACA, termination tracking, EPS, employee leaves, etc.
- Prepares "no contact" letters, separation letters, and updates all systems to reflect changes in employee status.
- Conducts exit interviews.
- Manages performance review process, collection and tracking of completed reviews, and any necessary updates to the templates as needed.
- Updates Sexual Harassment Prevention Training system with new hires/terminations.
- Acts as a resource to management, providing guidance and education on a variety of HR related topics, company policies and practices.
- Acts as back-up for HR Generalist/Team Leaders as needed.
- Other duties/projects as assigned.
Education Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field required OR
- 5 or more years of related experience
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years' experience applying Human Resources practices.
- Proven ability to operate independently and exhibit leadership qualities.
- Demonstrate a high-degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of Federal and State regulations, including but not limited to FMLA, FLSA, COBRA, New York State Paid Family Leave and Wage and Hour Regulations.
- Working knowledge of employment related laws, FLSA and NYS wage and hour regulations, and full cycle recruiting and benefits administration.
- Keeps apprised of federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations in order to ensure Company compliance.
- ADP experience required.

- Must be able to sustain prolonged periods in seated position.
- Must be able to sit at a computer for extended periods of time.
