Human Resources Coordinator

Craftsmen Utility Trailers is full service semi-trailer dealership headquartered in St. Louis, MO with branch locations in Sikeston, MO and Davenport, IA. The family-owned business has been a market leader for the past 4 decades in the Transportation Industry. With the goal of continuing to grow our business, we are seeking an HR professional to join our team.

REPORTS TO: Human Resources Manager

Human Resources Coordinator

-Perform payroll functions, ensuring accurate payment of wages on a bi-weekly basis.

-Reviewing each pay period to identify potential issues.

-Maintains employee data in the payroll system for both new and existing employees.

-Coordinates new hire process for new staff including orientation/workflow and new hire paperwork, background checks, preemployment physicals & drug screen setup.
-Handles inquiries from employees with issues with company portal, escalate to Human Resources Manager as needed.

-Assist in the recruitment process, setting up screening phone calls to potential candidates and scheduling in-person interviews.
-Assist in annual open enrollment process.

-Assist employees in Life Event Changes on company portal.
-Assist in planning and coordinating companywide special events and recognition programs for employees.

-Coordinate & participate in monthly Safety meetings.

Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in Human Resources and/or 2-5 years of HR experience.
-Strong interpersonal, communication, follow-up, problem solving skills.
-Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task with attention to detail.
-Technologically savvy, with high proficiency in all Microsoft Office and HRIS programs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
