GardaWorld Security Services is looking for a Labor Relations Analyst to support our payroll department at our headquarters in St. Louis, MO, as well as our Labor Relations Director.
JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for managing labor relations data, maintenance, payment, reconciliation, and audit processes and providing daily operational support to the Human Resources, Finance, and Labor Relations teams to ensure compliance with aspects related to Collective Bargaining Agreements, particularly economic compliance.
Salary: $55,000 / year
PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as the centralized point of contact for Labor Relations contracts and Health Funds across the nation relative to payments made on behalf of union employees, compliance for Dues, Health Care and retirement remittances, and payment approval required by various Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBA).
- Implement and manage and recommend company policies and procedures to ensure economic compliance with current and new CBAs.
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures for data maintenance and record retention.
- Create SQL and BI reports from ERP software to aid in the proper maintenance of data and reporting to both internal and external users.
- Calculate and prepare remittances for Health and Welfare, Pension, Dues, and other applicable payments required by CBAs.
- Continuously reconcile data provided by the union to our data on union statuses of employees and sites as well as on rates for wages, vacation hours, sick pay, health and welfare, pension, dues, etc.
- Manage multiple sick time, PTO hours accrual, and usage calculations to ensure compliance with CBAs and state/local ordinances.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in CBA compliance policies, continually reviewing processes to identify and implement data and process improvement to mitigate company exposure in Health Fund and Union audits.
- Coordinate with and assist Branch HR or field managers to ensure proper evaluation and handling of Union and Fund imposed matters, including Health, Welfare, Dues, Initiation and other mandates.
- Advise HR, Sales, and Finance teams on best practices for implementing and managing new and existing union accounts.
- Research any questions, clarifications, and delinquencies from both internal and external users.
- Manage all union reviews and audits.
- Perform analyses, reconciliations, and ad hoc reporting as directed to support the Finance and Labor Relations teams.
- Administer, oversee, and be the primary point of contact for Union and the Health Funds’ Employer Self-Service System (ESS).
- Perform other duties as directed by the Finance and Labor Relations Director or their delegates.

- Ability to create, maintain and analyze data effectively and efficiently using spreadsheets and databases.
- You have experience with HRIS data systems.
- You are proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with staff at all levels of the Organization, including internal and cross-departmental teams, consistently displaying a high level of professionalism, as well as with outside auditors and vendors.
- Must possess the ability to work with confidential reports and information with complete discretion.
- You possess a 4-year business-related degree with an emphasis in finance, accounting, or human resources.
- You have 1-2 years of human resources experience.
- 1-2 years in an analyst/accounting role is preferred but not required.
