Due to growth we are seeking a developing HR professional to serve OMNI's client population with recruitment administration and on-boarding needs. The Human Resource Specialist will work closely with OMNI's Outsourcing team who provide the full HR suite of services to multiple OMNI clients. Daily exposure to various HR technology platforms and processes makes this role ideal for someone looking to advance their HR career, with a focus on benefits and payroll administration.
ResponsibilitiesThis position serves as the primary administrative support for Human Resources outsourcing functions, with a path to advance into the Benefits and Payroll Administrator role. Accountabilities include but not limited to:
- Process and input large amounts of detail and confidential information into a variety of systems and software.
- Post job openings internally and/or externally to career boards, social media within established guidelines as directed.
- Communicate with candidates and clients, of all position levels, in a highly professional manner in both written and personal communications.
- Support candidates and hiring managers on use of the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Support new employees and supervisors on the use of HR Information System (HRIS).
- Assist in the administration and management of pre-employment backgrounds and drug testing.
- Participate in ongoing development and training into a Benefits & Payroll Administrator.
- Handle multiple tasks, and flexible, changing priorities.
- Utilize all office equipment, telephones, scanning devices, computers on a regular basis.
- Bachelor's degree in Business or HR related field preferred.
- 1+ year professional experience ideally in an administrative or customer service role.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
- Must possess patience and a love for helping others.
- Strong technical aptitude and experience with MS Office Suite.
- Self-starter with strong work ethic and resourceful approach to problem solving.
- Solid organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high achieving, entrepreneurial environment.
- HRIS and Applicant Tracking System experience a plus. (Kronos, UKG, iCIMS experience or comparable system)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated knowledge and success at the development and communication of professional correspondence.
