Pay Range: 100k - 120k

Our owner-operated, family-first culture inspires new possibilities for our team, our customers, and communities across America.  MITER Brands is looking for an HRIS Manager for the Harrisburg, Pennsylvania area to join our team.  

The ideal candidate will have eagerness to learn the business, and support our leadership team in leveraging our UKG HCM software platform to make informed business decisions and support organizational Human Capital initiatives. Key internal partnerships include partnering with the Talent, Payroll, Finance, and field HR and Operations teams to ensure success and effective system utilization. This role will also play an integral role to help lead a smooth integration process for newly acquired businesses.

What will you do?

  • Partner with the key functional and HR leaders to unlock the full functionality of UKG system to drive efficiencies for the organization.
  • Partner with HR leadership to understand key priorities and identify ways to share data through dashboards and regularly updated reports for ongoing managerial needs.
  • Design and provide organization reports, ad hoc and standard, to meet ensure business leaders have the information necessary to drive solid decisions.
  • Collaborate within the HR Operations team and with other departments to provide HR data analytics and contribute to process improvements.
  • Build and develop workflows, automate manual processes, and simplify internal procedures to drive efficiency.
  • Lead HRIS integration of future acquisitions
  • Work with the Finance team to integrate with Workday Adaptive for reporting, budgeting, and FP&A activities.
  • Work with the MITER BI Team to capture and pull metrics that help to drive business results.
  • Project manage the configuration and implementation of UKG and all of its component modules
  • Conduct gap analysis and design and deliver operational processes & procedures that are aligned with industry best practices and that meet dynamic business needs
  • Design and support training programs for various levels of users
  • Collaborate and support the user community in resolving system issues
  • Maintain data integrity within and across various disparate business systems
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for system security and reporting needs across the organization
  • Serve as the internal escalation point for system needs and issues
  • Develop vendor relationships and conduct vendor evaluations – especially around third-party integrations (benefits, 401k, leaves, etc.)
  • Deploy upgrades, enhancements, and support new supporting systems integration and deployments
  • Work with IT Department to maintain and monitor security controls
  • Actively participate in M&A-related due diligence and integration processes from a human capital standpoint

 

Desired Experience

  • BS/BA in HR, IT, Finance, or related business field and 5-7 years' experience with configuring, deploying and maintaining various HR/Payroll systems, or a sufficient combination of education and experience to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
  • Manufacturing experience is a definite plus
  • Deep experience in UltiPro and Workforce Dimensions required – proven success in recruiting, onboarding, core, payroll, compensation, and talent modules.
  • Experience in Human Resources and Payroll
  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams
  • Strong project management skills and proven track record leading complex projects within established time lines
  • Success in system deployment and configuration required
  • Able to thrive in a dynamic business environment
  • Excellent communication, training and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and Excel skills
  • Ability to effectively interface with staff across all levels of the organization
