Job description

HRIS Analyst (HR System Administrator) The Fund for Public Health in New York City (FPHNYC) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that is dedicated to the advancement of the health and well-being of all New Yorkers. To this end, in partnership with the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH), FPHNYC incubates innovative public health initiatives implemented by DOHMH to advance community health throughout the city. Itfacilitates partnerships, often new and unconventional, between government and the private sector to develop, test, and launch new initiatives.

These collaborations speed the execution of demonstration projects, effect expansion of successful pilot programs, and support rapid implementation to meet the public health needs of individuals, families, and communities across New York City. Position Overview This role offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated, data and process driven professional to support the HR department by being the go-to person for our HR and payroll system (Ceridian Dayforce). This position requires knowledge of HR systems and excellent data analysis and organization skills.

Responsibilities System Administration: Understand the system functionality of the Dayforce system Manage day to day system administration Support HR colleagues and business users in using the system and identifying how changes to the system can improve processes Troubleshooting system and process issues, engaging the vendor where needed for support, and ensuring resolution Data Integrity and Reporting: Perform continuous data audits and identify opportunities for added controls to ensure data integrity Support HR colleagues in conducting batch data change transactions Work with HRIS and HR leads to develop dashboards and reports Conduct deep HR data analytics to drive HR dashboard and insights Provide support in any ad hoc data reporting and analytics Support HR leadership in completing annual filings Training and Ongoing Support: Develop training materials and user guides for Dayforce Communicate and facilitate training for end users and HR partners on system functionality, workflows, processes, and enhancements Partner cross-functionally with other departments e.g., Finance and Legal to support the continued growth and optimization of our People systems Required Skills: Familiarity with human resources policies and procedures to ensure the HRIS meets organizational needs and goals Must be comfortable working independently and making decisions Working with databases and IT systems as an administrator Ability to keep information confidential Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Open to change and new information and ideas and adapt to the same Must encourage and foster cooperation and teamwork Requires strong communication and analytical skills Excellent attention to detail, balanced with an appreciation of the bigger-picture goals and objectives Strong desire to learn and grow in a quickly growing environment Qualifications: Either Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Management, or IT with at least one year of system administration experience, or 3+ years' experience in a Human Resources systems administration role Experience with Ceridian Dayforce preferred Ability to understand user's work processes and determine function needs and system requirements to support them Understanding of human resources processes and data is preferred.
