We have an opportunity for a HR Transformation & Project Manager to join our Golden Valley, MN team. You will be responsible for leading ongoing transformation efforts focused on the evolution of the HR Service Delivery & Operating Model for Pentair. You will be responsible for helping to drive Pentair's HR Transformation efforts to enable more efficient, scalable, and high-quality HR service delivery, through design and execution of workstreams involving the transition and establishment of an expanded HR service portfolio delivered by the HR Operations & Service Delivery teams. Reporting to the Director of HR Operations, Technology, and Services, you will support centralization and standardization efforts of key HR sub-functional processes, policies & transactions across business units and geographies. You will oversee the design of Enterprise-wide future state processes, along with lead execution of key transformation projects and initiatives. You will facilitate idea generation, intake, and functional evaluation among the HR and Business community on service delivery, automation, and simplification opportunities and will maintain a prioritized idea funnel to drive improvements delivering concrete business value. You will collaborate closely with the HR function to support development and adoption of new ways of working related to these transformation and improvement initiatives. You will also support strategic stakeholder and change management activities to enable alignment and support of organizational changes among key stakeholders, within and outside of HR.
You will:
- Maintains detailed understanding of current state HR service delivery model, processes, and metrics across key sub-functions, divisions, and geographies.
- Partners with functional SMEs and cross-functional/divisional stakeholders to identify and develop future state organization design, processes, and metrics that will enhance HR service delivery quality and efficiency.
- Identifies and educates HR stakeholders on the improvement projects, initiatives, and opportunities to be addressed within HR function.
- Collaborates with HR Leaders, colleagues, and stakeholders to develop integrated change management strategies and plans for key HR projects and initiatives.
- Develops, defines, and manages project & transition plans to prioritize and sequence opportunities in consideration of impact, complexity, and interdependencies.
- Provides a clear implementation approach to executing project plans through defined phases/milestones.
- Actively measures, monitors, and reports on project activities, milestones, dependencies, status, KPIs, and issues/risks.
- Develop, implement, and manage change management plans related to project implementation.
- Creates and communicates report-outs and updates to project teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Supports the Pentair HR Leadership Team in driving achievement of HR Strategic Priorities & Transformation objectives and addressing resistance/obstacles.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in organizational development, human resources, business, or related field; Master's degree preferred. PMP certification preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years in HR Operations/Shared Services environment
- 7+ years progressive Human Resources and/or Management Consulting experience including HR transformation, HR service delivery, HR PMO, talent management, organization development, mergers, and acquisitions, and/or change management.
- Experience in Global environment/Matrix organizations
- Subject Matter Expertise in Human Resources business processes and practices.
- Experience in process design, optimization, operational excellence, continuous improvement dedicated role within Shared Services or HR Operations critical
- Experience with implementation, configuration, or use of Workday as HRIS platform.
- Knowledge and understanding of core HR Systems (Workday, ATS, Performance, Talent Management, Case & Order, Knowledge Management, etc.)
- Complex stakeholder relationship management across business segments, functions, and regions (global program experience in service delivery and technology)
- Self-starter, highly motivated, with strong results orientation, ability to manage multiple priorities, lead cross-functional teams and adapt to changing requirements and environment with limited oversight.
- Proven project management skills along with solid analytical, consultative, and diagnostic skills; able to make sound, data-driven business decisions.
- Ability to identify and solve limitations and utilize Lean and 6Sigma methodologies to develop actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.
