BEHOLD! We have an immediate opening for a HR Onboarding Specialist role.
HR Onboarding Specialist
What You Will Do:
- Always provide outstanding service, to both internal and external customers
- Responds with 1-24 hours to inquiries regarding onboarding procedures
- Proactively builds excellent working relationships with key colleagues of all levels of the organization
- Assume ownership of the entire onboarding process including I-9s, data entry, badging, and more
- Maintain the onboarding process in HRIS system (Oracle)
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and recommend new and improved HRIS processes for the onboarding experience
- Help to maintain employee files and HRIS records, with a focus on compliance
- Conduct weekly system audits to ensure accuracy of data
- Works with other colleagues to follow up on any item from weekly and monthly audits
- Assist with the efficient day-to-day operation of the HR team
- Scheduling flexibility to respond to email queries from new hires who may need assistance with onboarding
- Maintain a clean, organized, safe and healthy working environment
- Support a fun and cohesive working environment for the team
- Enjoys working with others
- Enjoys taking the lead and "Going the extra mile."
What You Will Need:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 2+ years of recent work experience in Human Resources, specifically with onboarding new employees
- Working knowledge of Oracle desired
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong commitment to customer service excellence
- The ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations in a calm and professional manner
- Takes the initiative, show confidence, drive, and enthusiasm
- Ensures high standards, shows initiative, proactivity, and professionalism
- Are you polite, tactful, and friendly in person, via telephone and email
- Good level of decision-making ability and a sense of responsibility
- The ability to plan, organize and is very detail-oriented
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to sit, type and talk on the phone for extended periods.
