Perform human resources-related duties on a professional level and work closely with HR team in carrying out responsibilities in the following functional areas: benefits administration, training, onboarding, workers compensation, policy implementation, and employment law compliance.
- Administer various HR plans and procedures for all company personnel
- Conduct exit interviews, analysis of data and make recommendations on improving turnover.
- Participate in developing department goals, objectives and systems.
- Benefit administration; approving invoices for payment, communicating benefit information to employees, etc.
- Perform new hire onboarding (new hire and benefit orientation, ADP entry, eScreen entry, etc.)
- Provide worker’s compensation support by reporting injuries and maintaining files.
- Work with Safety Manager to maintain roster and schedule DOT Random Drug Testing.
- Manage uniform vendor relationship and uniform rental program.
- Maintain and coordinate employee recognition programs.
- File EEO-1 report annually; maintain other records, reports and logs to conform to EEO regulations.
- Participate in administrative staff meetings and attend other meetings and seminars.
- Recommend new policies and procedures to effect improvements in efficiency and services performed.
- Maintain human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database.
- Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
- Enter all ADP changes not captured by workflow.
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
- Bi-lingual: English/Spanish
- Four year college degree in Human Resources required. 3-5 years previous work-related experience.
- Advanced computer skills required; Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. ADP experience preferred.
- Data entry accuracy, detail orientated and extremely organized all a must.
