Job Description
SUMMARY
Performs Human Resources activities in support of internal client groups as well as proposes and deploys solutions for implementation within the site. Effectively executes responsibilities in , including but not limited to, the following functional areas: employee relations, HRIS administration and data analysis, employee development, benefits performance management, wellness programs, organizational development, recruitment, administration of HR policies/procedures/programs, orientation and onboarding, compensation, new hire integration and special projects as assigned.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Conducts orientation and onboarding for employees.
- Conducts exit interviews and makes recommendations to management for continuous improvement.
- Administers all applicable local, state and federal legal regulations; company policies and procedures; benefits; timekeeping; HRIS; and payroll.
- Stays up to date of the latest legislative and regulatory changes and understands their impact on both the Human Resources department and the organization. Makes recommendations to update, improve, or eliminate processes and policies as needed.
- Maintains Human Resources records on payroll and timekeeping databases, as well as personnel records, benefit files, medical and confidential files.
- Conduct thorough and objective investigations, including documentation and recommendations. Makes recommendations for appropriate action in support of/directed by Human Resources Manager.
- Runs reports and performs analysis of data to client managers using appropriate HRIS systems and databases.
- Responds to inquiries from management and employees on HR-related topics and provides information and/or refers them to policies and procedures as appropriate.
- Assists Recruiter with sourcing, interviews, and offers as needed; may also assist in development of key contacts in the community to identify strategic partnerships to develop talent pipelines. Assist in the development and facilitation of employee awareness, engagement and appreciation activities and programs.
- May serve as secondary point of contact for Workers Compensation reporting, light duty review and assignment, or act as assigned back up to other HR Generalists.
- Leads the interactive process and facilitates requests for reasonable accommodation in accordance with CIT policy and applicable laws.
- Administers leave of absence requests, including all state, federal, and company requirements.
- Assists with reconciliation of payroll and troubleshoots issues as needed. Partners with Division Payroll team as needed.
- Builds value-added relationships with all plant personnel and works collaboratively to communicate best practices and assist in the resolution of concerns.
- Works with people managers to provide guidance and input on performance management, disciplinary actions, workforce planning and organizational development.
- Conducts Human Resources training to employees and management staff as needed.
- Investigates employee relation issues and complaints, making recommendations for appropriate action and ensures appropriate documentation and action items are completed.
- Assist the HR Manager as needed.

SALARY INFORMATION
In compliance with WA state law, the annual base salary range for this position is $18 - $31 per hour. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Carlisle Interconnect Technology reviews factors such as but not limited to responsibilities of the position, scope of work, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal pay equity, as well as market considerations when extending an offer.

- Knowledge of applicable local, state, and federal regulations related to Human Resources activities

- Experience with HRIS, or ATS, required; ADP Vantage preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Associates degree in a related discipline preferred.
- 1+ year(s) in Human Resources required.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
SHRM certification is a plus.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
