Primary Purpose

The Human Resources Business Partner has the responsibility of planning and leading the strategic HR initiatives within the a regional structure with the collaboration of the operations/sales teams: This incudes: employee relations, HR compliance, on boarding, record-keeping, training and development, compensation and performance management.

The HRBP can reside in Boise, Idaho or Colorado.

Essential Functions

- Provide HR support, process knowledge, advice, and consultation to employees and managers

- Partner with the business and HR leaders on strategic projects and initiatives

- Promote positive employee relations and build relationships with employees and managers to become a trusted advisor

- Coach functional leadership in assigned client groups on issues including the application of HR practices, policies, and processes. This includes semi-complex employee relations issues.

- Consult with local and/or functional leaders in areas such as organizational assessment, succession planning, organizational structure, and workforce planning, and change management in order to strengthen overall organizational capability

- Ensure alignment of HR processes at HQ

- Conduct employee relations investigations and provide recommendations for resolution

- Handle escalations to resolve client inqueries and issues as appropriate

- Collaborate with the Corporate HR Team on defining and implementing process standardization and improvements

Qualifications

+ Demonstrated success translating business strategies into organizational and HR actions

+ Hands-on exposure to the full mix of HR functions

+ Experience working across a complex organizational matrix.

+ Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

+ A record of accomplishment of positive results and an ability to show how his/her/their programs andpolicies have contributed to the growth and bottom-line profitability of an organization

+ Understanding of workplace culture and experience leading change

+ Adherence to fair employment laws and practices

+ Excellent communication skills (e.g. written and verbal)

+ Four year degree required

+ PHR Certified preferred

+ Valid Driver's License, required.

+ Strong analytical skills with proficency in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

+ Experience training and coaching front-line and mid-level supervisors.

+ Travel as needed
