Job Description
We are currently looking for a motivated individual to join the Human Resource team and assume the role of HR Administrative Assistant. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work with a wide range of confidential issues, have excellent organizational and communication skills, be able to multitask and prioritize conflicting needs and have exceptional follow-through.This candidate would work hand and hand with Human Resources and Talent Acquisition to support and assist with various needs.
As a Human Resource Assistant, you will provide administrative support in all Human Resources functions including employee record keeping, event planning, assisting with recruiting duties, assisting with HR projects and events as well as assisting employees with basic inquiries.
Job Responsibilities:
Asset management
Set up of new employee laptops
Assist with event and party planning
Keep up with office supplies, kitchen supplies, office snacks and monitor inventory of goods
Conduct employee onboarding and help organize training & development initiatives, explains company policies
Print, scan, upload and organize documents and employee paperwork
Assist with the day-to-day running of the recruitment process including sourcing, advertising and planning recruitment open houses.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR systems and practices.
Ensure all employee information in the HR information system is accurate and up-to-date.
Maintains personnel files, including filing, organizing and updating as needed.
Payroll data entry, including timekeeping system
Technologically skilled (Google Docs, Pages, Slack, Asana, etc.)
Skills & Personal Qualities:
Detail oriented, flexible, able to prioritize multiple projects with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organization, administrative and creative problem-solving skills required.
Solid interpersonal skills.
Able to communicate to all levels of organization in all settings (from individual to large group).
Must be very approachable and able to develop strong professional relationships and foster involvement at all levels of organization.
Responsible for performing administrative functions including distributing mail, ordering, and stocking supplies, answering phones, and greeting visitors
Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of HR files and records
Excellent people skills, with a friendly, approachable, and compassionate attitude
Ability to give clear and engaging presentations
Teachable attitude and eager to apply constructive feedback and learn from mistakes
Proactive with outstanding organizational and time management skills
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Must have 2+ years general administrative assistant experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
High School Diploma or GED
HR Experience is a plus but not required
