Hotel Maintenance Person

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The Maintenance Person will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the proper functioning and upkeep of our facilities. This position requires strong mechanical knowledge, the ability to read schematics, and excellent leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and systems to identify any issues or malfunctions

- Perform repairs and maintenance tasks such as replacing faulty parts, troubleshooting electrical systems, and repairing plumbing fixtures

- Ability to track work orders, document repairs, and maintain accurate records

- Supervise and coordinate with external contractors when necessary for specialized repairs or installations

- Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing maintenance requests and resolving issues in a timely manner

- Assist in the development and implementation of preventive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime

- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Skills:

- Strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot and repair various types of equipment

- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise a team of maintenance technicians

- Experience working with work orders and manage inventory

- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
