Responsibilities
*Preparing Hookahs: Properly setting up hookah equipment, including assembling the hookah, packing the bowl with shisha tobacco, and ensuring the charcoal is lit and positioned correctly. *Assisting Customers: Providing friendly and knowledgeable assistance to customers, including helping them select flavors of shisha tobacco, explaining hookah etiquette and usage, and answering any questions they may have. *Monitoring Hookahs: Regularly checking on customers to ensure their hookah is smoking properly and addressing any issues or concerns promptly. *Maintaining Cleanliness: Keeping the hookah area clean and organized, including regularly cleaning and sanitizing hookah equipment, replacing water and charcoal as needed, and disposing of used materials properly. *Enforcing Regulations: Enforcing any applicable rules or regulations regarding hookah smoking, such as age restrictions and smoking policies, and ensuring customers comply with these guidelines. *Providing Customer Service: Offering excellent customer service throughout the duration of the customer's visit, including refilling hookah bowls, replenishing charcoal, and attending to any additional requests. *Upselling and Promotions: Suggesting additional items or upgrades to enhance the customer's experience, such as special flavors, drinks, or snacks, and promoting any specials or promotions offered by the establishment. *Handling Payments: Processing customer orders and payments accurately and efficiently, including using a POS system if applicable, and providing change or processing credit card transactions as needed. *Collaborating with Staff: Working closely with other staff members, such as bartenders or servers, to ensure a smooth and coordinated operation and provide assistance as needed during busy periods. *Maintaining Product Knowledge: Staying informed about the latest trends in hookah flavors and equipment, as well as any changes to the establishment's menu or offerings, to provide the best possible service to customers.
Qualifications
*Knowledge of Hookah Equipment: Understanding of various types of hookahs, how they work, and how to set them up properly. *Tobacco Handling Skills: Familiarity with different types of shisha tobacco, including flavors and blends, and how to pack them into the hookah bowl. *Safety and Hygiene: Awareness of health and safety regulations regarding hookah smoking, including proper cleaning and maintenance of equipment to ensure a clean and hygienic environment. *Customer Service: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide friendly and efficient service to customers, including assisting with selecting flavors, explaining hookah etiquette, and addressing any concerns or questions. *Multitasking Abilities: Capability to manage multiple hookah setups simultaneously during busy periods while ensuring each customer receives prompt and attentive service. *Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot any issues that may arise with hookah equipment or customer requests in a calm and efficient manner. *Knowledge of Hookah Culture: Understanding of hookah culture, traditions, and etiquette to create an authentic and enjoyable experience for customers. *Legal Requirements: Compliance with any local regulations or age restrictions regarding the sale and consumption of tobacco products. *Teamwork: Willingness to work collaboratively with other staff members to maintain a smooth operation and provide excellent service to customers. *Physical Stamina: The job may require standing for long periods and lifting heavy equipment, so physical fitness and stamina are advantageous.

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $2.15 - $8.50/hour.
