We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Home Care Assistantswith CNA certification to join our team Right at Home, In-Home Care & Assistance. As a Home Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing daily support and assistance to our clients who reside in their homes.
Responsibilities:
Assist clients with their activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
Administer medications and monitor vital signs under the direction of a healthcare professional.
Prepare meals and assist with feeding, as needed.
Monitor and report changes in clients' health, behavior, and mood to the healthcare team.
Assist with light housekeeping and laundry services.
Providing hospice supportive care
Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living.
Performs patient-specific activities that are taught by a Right at Home nurse.
Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments
Ambulation/Transfers
Assisting with the prescribed range of motion exercises
Assisting with blood glucose monitoring
Care of bed-bound patients
Incontinence care
Preferred Experience in:
Hoyer lift
Personal care
Range of Motion Exercises
Foley care
Companionship
Light cleaning
Requirements:
Must possess a current CNA certification.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Compassionate and caring attitude towards clients.
Clean criminal background check and negative TB test results.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
