Please review the following job description:

Monitor Distributed and Direct channels withdrawn, closed for incompleteness, approved but not accepted, and denied mortgage loan files ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) data collected and reported per federal regulatory regulations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

1. Monitor the accuracy and integrity of the HMDA data on withdrawn, closed for incompleteness, approved but not accepted, and denied mortgage loans.
2. Correct HMDA data inaccuracies and provide feedback to management regarding inaccuracies found during the monitoring process.
3. Assist the HMDA/Fair Lending Corporate Team with research and correction of HMDA data.
4. Resolve the monthly and year-end HMDA Quality, Validity, and Address edits as directed by the HMDA/Fair Lending Corporate Team.
5. Redirect and provide appropriate feedback to management on mortgage loans that originally received an incorrect HMDA final action for proper handling (e.g. withdrawn files that should be proposed for denial).
6. Complete the closure process for all withdrawn, closed for incompleteness, approved but not accepted, and denied mortgage loans.
7. Develop and maintain a positive working relationship with all teammates.
8. Assist in and/or conduct specialized HMDA reviews and audits on identified HMDA data field inaccuracies.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
1. Associate's degree in business or related field, or equivalent job-related experience.
2. Solid technical and problem-solving skills.
3. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in relating to internal and external clients.
4. Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
2. Supplemental knowledge and experience in residential mortgage lending, including underwriting, processing or origination.
3. Five Years of experience in HMDA related positions.
