The UIH is seeking a Healthcare Technician to join our Diagnostic Services team. This position functions under the direction of the Director, Interventional Radiology Manager and PICC RN's in assisting with placement of PICC's and IV's of patients in a hospital or clinic setting.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications required:
1. High school graduation or equivalent.
2. Any one or any combination totaling six (6 months) from the following categories:
1. Six (6 months) of work experience in direct patient care in a healthcare setting or equivalent.
2. College course work in a related field as measured by the following conversion table or its proportional equivalent.
- 30 semester hours equals six (6 months)
3. (American Heart Association) Basic Life Support/CPR
Preferred Qualifications:
- 40 hours per week/Flexible shift/Rotate on weekends
- PICC experience
