Healthcare It Manager (Ehr)

Job Description:

• Dedicated, site-level technical electronic health implementation expert to work independently with other information services applying specific knowledge, skills, and abilities to ensure the Cerner and EHRM IO goals to Cerner implementation is optimize for the delivery of technical support of the EHRM IO Strategic plan.
• Ensuring this level of optimization requires close work with OIT, BioMed, FMS and other technical pillars, clinical and support services, project managers and other information service professional to enumerate requirements from the various groups of stakeholders.
• Use knowledge of technical dependencies to autonomously advise and participate the implementation of electronic medical record technologies.

Basic qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math or equivalent
• Minimum of 15 years of experience is required. An additional 8 years of relevant experience may be substituted for degree requirements.
• Must create strategies and plans for integration of multiple IT systems/subsystems into an operational unit, ensuring full functional and performance capabilities are retained
• Understanding of EHR Implementation and how it relates to all technical aspects through the project Life Cycle
• Must be able to coordinate with development and user teams to assess risks, goals and needs and ensure that all are adequately addressed
• Must be experienced in introducing new hardware or software into a new or existing environment while minimizing disruption and mitigating risks
• Must be cost conscience as well addressing goals
