Employee Health & Benefits Specialist opportunity in beautiful Hamilton, Montana!! Bitterroot Health is seeking candidates to fill an Employee Health & Benefits Specialist position. Under the leadership of the Employee Health & Benefits Manager, the Employee Health & Benefits Specialist will assist with the administration of benefit plans, the wellness program, and aid with Employee Health at Bitterroot Health.

This individual will possess a strong working knowledge of the benefits plans and will work directly with employees to process enrollment activities and provide customer service. This individual will work in conjunction with the Employee Heath R.N. to assist with the clinical health and wellness component for our employee population.

Minimum Qualifications: Education: Associate degree in related field or Clinical degree preferred. Will consider equivalent combination of education and experience. Licensures, Certifications, Registrations: BLS (Basic Life Support) or higher.

Within one year of hire, candidate must be certified through completion of an accredited medical assistant NCCA (National Commission for Certifying Agencies) exam. Job knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Extensive knowledge of computer software (Microsoft Office Suite), hospital financial software and other HRIS database preferred. High level of interpersonal skills, including dependability and integrity, to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation.

Attention to detail in composing, typing, and proofing materials, policies, and procedures, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines required. Excellent spelling, grammar, and written communication skills as well as excellent telephone and face-to-face communication skills. Strong time management, priority management, project management and change management skills required.

Demonstrated ability to move forward an agenda, initiative, or project to successful fruition. Strong data analysis, analytical thinking, and data presentation skills. Benefits:This position is eligible for the full benefit package.
