DAY-TO-DAY

This full-time engineering position with our sustainable technology company typically works during the day and may include long hours or nontraditional work schedules, depending on business needs.

You're the Lead Maintenance Technician in charge of all maintenance activities, utility operations, and trial executions at our Food Application Center. You oversee and perform various maintenance tasks such as predictive checks, equipment repairs, and electrical work to minimize downtime and ensure successful trial executions.

You troubleshoot equipment as necessary, maintain an updated work schedule, and work with third-party vendors to ensure inspections are up to date and support food safety activities. You partner with our engineering team for process upgrades and continuous improvement.

As new projects come in, you help set up, commission, align, and prepare trials to ensure they run smoothly. You take pride in serving as a leader in such an important engineering role for our sustainable technology company!

REQUIREMENTS FOR A HEAD MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - MECHANICAL ENGINEER

• Technical diploma or related degree in process or mechanical engineering from an accredited institution OR a combination of education and experience ideally in the food industry
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, SAP, and PLC
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally about 15% of the time
