OVERVIEW: The Stylist provides consistent blowouts and tool styling according to Drybar’s Look Book. Stylists have a
great attitude, energy, and skills to match. We focus on one thing and be the best at it. For us that’s
blowouts. No cuts. No color. Just blowouts.
* Responsibilities:
1. Perform client consultations to include listening to clients' needs to determine their preferences, assessing their
hair, describing different hair care products, and making recommendations.
2. Provide outstanding customer service by building a personal relationship with clients to ensure return visits
3. Have excellent knowledge of Drybar’s memberships, products and ad-ons.
4. Shampoo, blow-dry and style a clients hair following the Drybar blowout guidelines.
5. Perform scalp massages.
6. Acting as salespersons to sell clients hair care retail products.
7. Complete shop side work: including but not limited to cleaning, sweeping, inventory, washing dishes, polishing
baseboards and restocking product shelves.
8. Keeps tools and workstation clean and sanitized.
9. Serve as the back up to the receptionist aka 'Bartender' when needed to cover the front desk due to breaks and absences.
10. Adhere to Drybar’s Timekeeping Policy. Responsible for reporting all time worked for self in a timely fashion to
management.
11. Uphold Drybar’s 10 Core Values.
12. Respond to all inquiries within 8 or less working hours.
13. Participate fully in meetings, trainings and team building events.
14. Adhere to the concept of team, aligning to and supporting the company’s vision, mission, and goals.
15. Performs other duties as assigned.

Buttercups Stylists at Drybar Montecito have a guaranteed starting hourly wage of $17.00-$25.00/hour (depending on experience, with income earning room to grow), along with sales bonuses, and product commission sales.

Minimum: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Valid cosmetology license in CALIFORNIA; Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
Preferred: Experience in multi-unit/multi-state retail operations and consumer products organizations. Bilingual
Spanish; Computer skills to learn new systems quickly, along with proficiency in Word, Excel and
Outlook.
General Information: In order to perform the essential job functions of this position, candidate must be able to maintain high
standards and great attitude during high volume. Maintain a clean, organized and dry workspace.
Consistently produce high quality hair standard through professional work. The ability to identify
hazardous scalp issues..
Knowledge Required: Knowledge of methods needed to communicate and execute instructions or directives fluently in
English. Sustain the functional and technical knowledge and skills to perform a blowout to Drybar
standards. The ability to navigate through difficult client scenarios.
