We are seeking a highly skilled Test Architect to lead and oversee the testing efforts for our Guidewire
PolicyCenter implementations and enhancements. The Test Architect will play a critical role in ensuring
the quality, reliability, and performance of Guidewire systems through comprehensive testing strategies
and solutions.
Responsibilities:
· Test Strategy Development: Develop and maintain a comprehensive testing strategy and
framework for Guidewire Insurance Suite projects, considering business requirements, system
complexities, and best practices.
· Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams,
ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards throughout the software
development lifecycle
· Test Planning execution: Lead oversee the detailed test plans and execution that outline
test objectives, scope, resources, and timelines for Guidewire projects, ensuring alignment with
project goals.
· Test Design: Lead the design of test scenarios, test cases, and test data to effectively cover
functional, integration, regression, and performance testing requirements.
· Test Automation: Implement and oversee test automation strategies and frameworks to
increase testing efficiency and coverage, utilizing tools like Selenium or Guidewires automated
testing tools.
· Defect Management: Establish and manage defect tracking and resolution processes, working
closely with development teams to ensure timely and effective issue resolution.
· Performance Testing: Plan, design, and conduct performance testing to assess the scalability and
reliability of Guidewire systems under various loads and conditions.
· Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance testing processes, tools, and
methodologies, and implement best practices to improve overall testing efficiency and
effectiveness.
· Reporting and Documentation: Generate test reports, including test results, defect reports, and
status updates, and communicate findings to project stakeholders.
· Compliance and Security Testing: Ensure that Guidewire systems adhere to security and
compliance standards, conducting security and compliance testing as needed.
· Collaboration: Collaborate closely with development teams, business analysts, and project
managers to ensure alignment of testing efforts with project objectives and timelines.
Qualifications:
· Degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
· Proven experience as a Testing Architect with a focus on Guidewire Insurance Suite
· Strong knowledge of Guidewire systems, including PolicyCenter
· Guidewire PolicyCenter cloud certification is mandatory.
· Experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter cloud-based solutions.
· Experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
· Expertise in performance testing methodologies and tools.
· Familiarity with insurance industry processes and practices.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
· Proficiency in test management and defect tracking tools.
· Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
