Guest Care Assistant:

Summary:

The Guest Care Assistant is an entry level position responsible for supporting all areas with Guest Care, safety and facility cleanliness to ensure a 5 Star Experience for each and every one of our guests and customers. This can be a part-time and/or full-time position which includes all major holidays, weekends, evenings and possible overnights.

Key Duties Include, but not limited to:

▪ Ensure the safety, comfort, cleanliness and well-being of ALL guests

▪ Complete training courses on CPR and First Aid, dog behavior, language and obedience training

▪ Observe and recognize changes in health to include diseases and illnesses (diarrhea, vomiting, limping, excessive panting etc...)

▪ Understand and execute company operations, requirements, expectations, policies and procedures

▪ Comply with all safety policies and procedures relating to performance of tasks, use of equipment, tools, products, chemicals, disinfectants etc...

▪ Identify and document potential safety or maintenance issues regarding any equipment or areas and report all incidents immediately to your supervisor (incidents include any time there is a threat or hazard to a guest, customer or employee)

▪ Follow and complete Daily Duties and Extra Duties schedule

▪ Follow Disinfect and Deodorizing schedule ▪ Collect, wash, sanitize, dry and put away dishes

▪ Wash, dry, hang laundry per laundry instructions (document/handle personal items with care)

▪ Keep Workstations, Kitchen, Employee Lounge cleaned, organized and supplies replenished

▪ Monitor and fill water stations as necessary

▪ Prepare and manage KONG inventory per daily orders (follow recipes)

▪ Yard Care: Maintain and care for flowers, lawn, landscaping and rocks in play area

▪ Keep all areas including entry way, sidewalks, parking lot free of debris as well as snow during inclement weather

▪ Physical demands include standing, bending, kneeling and assisting in lifting objects up to 50 lbs.

▪ Other duties and various tasks as assigned

Qualifications and Job Requirements:

▪ Be courteous and professional when communicating and working with guests, clients and co-workers

▪ Work within a team environment where members depend on each other to complete their tasks

▪ Take initiative and identify work that needs to be completed without being instructed to do so

▪ Detailed oriented in all aspects of the position

▪ Desire to learn, seek new challenges, take on additional responsibilities, offer suggestions and present solutions for improvement

▪ High School Diploma or GED preferred
