Automotive, injection molding, process, tooling and the later phases of program management experience required. Salary, bonus, profit sharing, benefits on day one of hire and growth opportunity! Oversee Application Engineering Department in order to ensure that future customer needs will be satisfied.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Supply engineering support to sales and production with CAD data, prints, prototypes, parts and customer support to assure a successful product launch.
- Continually develop processes and procedures that simplify the launch process of new parts and engineering changes while assuring quality parts from quality tooling.
- Participates as a member of NPCT or Launch Teams as required.
- Accomplishes assigned Program Management tasks in a timely and effective manner. Manage tooling and tooling expenses.
- Assure state of the art technologies are employed by the Application Engineering Department.
- Design and develop new processes in the production and application within our niche product area to make Sika a competitive forerunner in our core business.
- Manage and comply with QS-9000 regarding the design of pats for the Automotive Business Unit.
- Manage and launch activity to ensure key timing and milestones are met.
