Grounds Assistant

Responsibilities of the Grounds Assistant include the following:

1. Venue and Alcohol Tent Setup and Breakdown: The Grounds Assistant is responsible for efficiently setting up and dismantling the venue and alcohol tent, ensuring that all necessary equipment and materials are properly arranged and stored.

2. Vendor Support: It is the duty of the Grounds Assistant to monitor the vendors, ensuring that they receive adequate breaks and addressing any immediate needs or concerns they may have during their operations.

3. Grounds Maintenance and Cleanup: The Grounds Assistant is responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness and tidiness of the grounds, including regular maintenance tasks such as sweeping, and removing debris to ensure a visually appealing and safe environment.

4. Lights and Decorations Installation: The Grounds Assistant is tasked with the installation and arrangement of lights and decorations as required, ensuring that they are appropriately positioned to enhance the aesthetic appeal of the venue.

5. Parking Lot Management: To ensure a smooth flow of operations, the Grounds Assistant is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the parking lot area, preventing vendors from parking in designated customer spaces and ensuring that parking regulations are adhered to.

6. Communication with Grounds Manager: The Grounds Assistant is expected to maintain open lines of communication with the Grounds Manager, promptly reporting any queries, concerns, or issues that arise during their assigned duties.

By diligently carrying out these responsibilities, the Grounds Assistant contributes to the overall success and efficiency of the venue's operations.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
