Ground Based Radar (Gbr) Mission Assurance Sme

Delta Solutions and Strategies is seeking a Ground Based Radar (GBR) Mission Assurance SME at Buckley SFB, CO. This position will work with Space Delta 4 providing strategic and theater missile warning and tracking to the United States, international partners, and Combatant Commanders to deter attack, protect human lives, and if necessary, enable a decisive response.

What you will be doing:

• Support DEL 4 Mission Operations Center (MOC), Site Scheduling, Infrastructure (HVAC, Power, cybersecurity, and communications) and Hardened Electromagnetic Pulse (HEMP) programs and support all SBIRS/GBR Maintenance Assurance Operations.
• Aid in Missile Warning (MW) Mission Assurance to include engineering support, maintenance planning and reporting.
• Coordinate development weapon system upgrades and changes (Problem Reports, Deficiency Reports, Schedule Change Requests, DLM) with the program office to meet mission needs.
• Aid in scheduling functions for the GBR Enterprise to include generating and coordinating line numbers, Event Object Worksheets and Scheduled Maintenance Activities to notify external stakeholders of potential mission impacts as a result of Scheduling Requests.
• Coordinate and track maintenance actions, including Preventive Maintenance Inspections (PMIs) and Urgent and Emergent Depot Level Maintenance (DLM).
• Coordinate with various organizations in the MW community and BGAR to ensure proper documentation of maintenance actions as directed by Headquarters United States Space Force S4.
• Work with the applicable SPO to maintain current status of any DLMs or other maintenance items of interest.
• Advise DEL 4 and Squadron leadership on anomaly resolution and course of action (COA) analysis.
• Maintain situational awareness of all maintenance, test, and sustainment activities that impact operations.
• Deliver monthly projections of scheduled maintenance efforts to the DEL 4 Staff. Produce project documentation to include project schedules, risk management plans, test plans, test resource plans, and HEMP Harness Maintenance/Hardness Sustainment (HM/HS) schedules.

What you will need:

• Ability to coordinate with internal/external stakeholders to identify and solve a variety of problems and to clarify management objectives.
• Expertise using the Microsoft Office Suite of tools (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, especially when communicating technical information to audiences with varying backgrounds.
• Ability to brief and interact with senior-level officers (i.e., GO/FLAG) and senior civilians.
• Minimum of 5 years of technical experience in multiple facets of the DOD GBR Enterprise such as ground, mission, and/or software deployment.
• 4 years' combined experience in any of the following: Upgraded Early Warning Radar (UEWR), Perimeter Acquisition Radar Attack Characterization System (PARCS), Cobra Dane (CD), or the Long-Range Discrimination Radar (LRDR).
• Subject Matter Expertise (SME) in one of the following: Space Domain Awareness, Integrated Missile Defense or Strategic and Theater missile warning.
• Previous experience at Space Delta 4, Space Systems Command (SSC) or Space Operations Command (SpOC).
• Active TS//SCI clearance is required to be considered for this position.
