Job Description: Front Entry Greeter/Host at Terrapin In Hoboken, NJ. (Recreational Use)

We are seeking a qualified and experienced individual to join our team as a Associate/Greeter. As a leading player in the rapidly expanding adult-use industry, we are committed to providing a safe and welcoming environment for our customers and employees. Associate/Greeter will play a critical role in ensuring the compliance and smooth operation of our facility.

Responsibilities:


1. Greet and welcome customers upon their arrival to the facility, creating a positive and friendly atmosphere. Maintaining proper volume in waiting room, prioritizing medical line vs. adult use line patients.

2. Verify customers' age and identification to ensure compliance with legal regulations regarding the purchase of medical/AU products.


3. Maintain a visible presence in the retail area to deter theft, prevent disruptions, and ensure the safety of customers and employees.

4. Monitor surveillance and alarm systems as trained, promptly responding to any suspicious or unauthorized activity to Director, General Manager, and local police department/law enforcement if necessary.

5. Follow protocols and procedures to prevent unauthorized access, theft, and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.


6. Assist in routine inspections of the premises to identify potential risks with D.O.S.

7. Collaborate with the store management team and other security personnel to develop strategies and action plans for emergency situations or incidents

.8. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customers' inquiries, resolving complaints.

Requirements:


1. High school diploma or equivalent.


2. Proven experience in a high-volume/client based role, preferably in a retail or hospitality setting.

3. Sound knowledge of laws, regulations, and site protocols relating to the industry.


4. Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers, employees, and law enforcement personnel.


5. Strong observational and analytical skills to identify and respond to potential security threats or risks.


6. Experience with and understanding of or willing to train with new systems.


7. Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure or in emergency situations, alert the team and follow site/state protocols.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.99 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
