GRANT WRITER - ZERO EMISSIONS VEHICLES:

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

As our Grant Writer, you will direct, plan, organize, and oversee the Grants and Capital Program to support Pape' customers with the purchase of medium and heavy-duty Zero Emissions Vehicles. You will accomplish this by carrying out grant applications, grant reporting, grant compliance monitoring, and completing appropriate internal record keeping.

You will ensure there is timely administration and management of all federal, state, and local grants. This includes providing timely tracking, analysis, application, funding strategy, and reporting of grant funding opportunities. Additionally, you will coordinate the application process with the appropriate Pape' ZEV Territory Manager, and coordinate project funding efforts with intergovernmental agencies at the federal, state, and local levels, and ensure compliance with all funding requirements.

This position will serve all Pape' Kenworth locations on the west coast in CA, NV, OR, WA & AK. Candidates would ideally be located in the Sacramento, CA area, but remote work can be accommodated.

WHAT YOU NEED:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a closely related field.
  • 7 or more years of experience in grant management, grant writing, accounting, finance and/or capital project management, cost analysis, capital accounting, grants accounting, and/or project controls.
  • 3 or more years of supervisory experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Driver's License with a good driving record.


Starting Compensation: $130,000-$150,000/yr (Depending on Experience)
