Kearney & Company is seeking a Senior Consultant to join our team! Specifically, we are looking for a Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Senior Consultant who can apply their audit and assessment technical expertise and skills in supporting senior executives over a broad range of technology-enablement solution projects and work products. This position will be 100% remote. Additional skills and responsibilities are defined below:
- Oversee a team of 2-5 individuals performing compliance impact assessment duties and provide guidance, direction and quality reviews
- Analyze information, requirements, data, work quality, work methods, processes, project-specific practices, standards and metrics/statistics
- Interpret results of analysis; present recommendations, including alternatives and implications
- Track overall work product risks and recommendations
- Collaborate with other team leads to analyze and improve overall delivery of projects
- Work in an integrated team environment to assess risks and challenges to project success
- Conduct benchmarking, trend analysis and other inputs to drive continuous improvement and elevate overall service quality
- Develop methods to solve business problems by defining the problem, interviewing stakeholders, identifying and evaluating alternatives, and presenting observations
- Develop and recommend risk mitigation strategies and/or root cause analysis of risks associated with IT-project work products across financially-relevant risk areas (e.g., key business processes and controls, information technology (IT) general controls supporting, data quality, and information security)
- Assess the impact of emerging items such as laws, regulations, policies, oversight bodies, and news and provide early alerts on potential impacts to overall project success
- Support adaptive progress reporting requirements
Qualifications
• Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Management, Finance, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field or Masters of Business Administration (MBA)
• Minimum of 10 years subject matter work expertise or experience in providing internal controls, data quality, and risk management related services.
• Experience leading a support team assessing risks and providing recommendations to support active risk management and mitigation to financial policy, oversight, systems, controls and data.
• Federal Government financial and/or IT audit experience
• CISA, CPA, or equivalent certification
The expected salary range for this position is between $100k and $150k. This range is representative of base pay only and does not include straight time pay for hours worked over 40 per week, company contributions towards paid benefits, and/or bonuses. Actual compensation (meeting or exceeding the range) will be determined based on specific experience, education, work location, clearance level, and other factors permitted by law. This position is eligible for bonuses (when applicable).
