We are seeking a highly motivated Graduate Student specializing in Aerospace Engineering or relevant field, with a keen interest in estimation and data fusion, to join our dynamic team. This intern will play a pivotal role in enhancing York's attitude determination and PNT estimation methodologies, employing advanced Kalman filtering techniques.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with the team to understand and leverage the spacecraft’s ACS data outputs.
- Conduct research on potential methodologies for ACS Kalman filtering and estimation.
- Develop and refine ACS Kalman filter and estimation techniques.
- Analyze the effectiveness of implemented techniques and present findings to the team.
- Engage in constructive dialogues with peers, mentors, and stakeholders.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Currently enrolled in a graduate program focused on Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
- Demonstrated knowledge in estimation, Kalman filtering, and data fusion techniques.
- Proficiency in MATLAB and other relevant software tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Strong communicator, great team player and overall hard worker
- Self-starter and self-motivated with a hunger to learn
- An interest in full time employment at York Space Systems
- Demonstrated interest in spacecraft and space systems
- Willing and able to work in office (this is not a remote internship)
