In this role the Global Business Coordination Analyst - Forecasting Data Analytics will be responsible to help leverage data, analytics and business intelligence to drive key decisions in the area of Demand Forecasting. The ideal candidate will have experience with SQL, Python, R or a similar coding language. The role will support ALDI in our implementation of SAP, and help guide the business into the future of automation and centralization within our Supply Chain. The role will require the candidate to work with internal stakeholders from all around the world by sharing knowledge, best practices and support with regards to data analytics.

Position Type: Full-Time
Work Location: Batavia, IL
This role is eligible to participate in ALDI's Hybrid Work Program, which allows remote work up to 3 days per week (i.e., work remotely up to 3 hours days per week; work in-office at least 2 days per week).

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Consults with the business to effectively design and streamline processes focusing on global standardization within the domain.
• Guides evolution of software solutions within the domain, including global requirements gathering, assessment/prioritization of functionalities, and steering of supply chain software design projects.
• Recommends process improvements for area of responsibility.
• Acts as lead in the management of global demands utilizing Demand to Solution processes within the domain.
• Uses expertise to steer evolution of software solutions, including global requirements gathering, prioritization of demands, and steering of supply chain software design within the domain.
• Seeks out training and development opportunities and upskills team members.
• Leads change management activities with the business and end-users.
• Leads team to work in concert with the overarching company strategy and models ALDI core values in daily work.
• Stays up-to-date on industry best practices, identifies and shares relevant industry related news / information.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or a related field required.
• A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in grocery and / or retail supply chain required.
• Or, a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
• Experience defining software specifications from user requirements or similar discipline required.

Physical Requirements:

• Work is performed in an office environment where a computer, telephone and other office equipment are used as needed to perform duties.
• Regularly required to sit, reach, grasp, stand and move from one area to another.
• Constantly and repeatedly use keyboard/mouse.
• Occasionally required to push, pull, bend, lift and move up to 25 lbs.

Travel:

• International & Domestic travel required.
• Up to 25%.
