We are seeking a GENERAL MANAGER to lead our team in Louisville, KY Our General Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations. Management functions include hiring, training and leading a team of employees to provide excellent service and great customer satisfaction. Our General Manager is also responsible for developing and managing an annual budget, while driving for constant growth and profitability.
Responsibilities for our General Manager include but are not limited to:
- Financial budgeting, processing and reconciling with assistance of our Accounting team;
- Oversee short and long-term financial and managerial reporting;
- Communicate regularly and work closely with Executive team and Board;
- Manage grantor contracts and reimbursement requests;
- Prepare annual audit and be a liaison with all outside vendors;
- Perform equipment inspections with technicians to ensure quality control
The successful candidate for this position will share the following knowledge, skills and abilities:
- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or other related field (required);
- A minimum of 5 years experience in managing a Household goods moving & storage trucking facility ;
- A minimum of 3 years experience overseeing an operational management team in a fast-paced industry;
- Experience working with a diverse workforce;
- A valid driver’s license, with the ability to successfully pass MVR qualifications;
- Impeccable ability to communicate with others both verbally and in writing;
- Strong leadership skills with a professional demeanor
